1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.palazzobardiapartments.com (“Website”) and the booking services for the apartment located at Via dei Bardi, 29, 50125 Florence, Italy, managed by Gianluca Maggi, license number: 048017LTN9929, IT048017C2ZTW5668W (“Services”). By using our Website to make a booking, you accept the terms listed here. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our Services. 2. Bookings Bookings can be made directly through our Website. Once the booking is completed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your stay. The booking confirmation process and the management of check-in documents are facilitated through the platform called Vikey (www.vikey.it) (“Vikey”), a secure and automated platform for managing bookings. Booking Confirmation: After booking, you will receive an automatic email from Vikey with check-in instructions. Check-in Documents: Before arrival, you will be asked to upload your identification documents via the Vikey system, which will send them securely in compliance with Italian law. This system ensures a fast and, if necessary, contactless check-in. 3. Cancellation Policy Cancellations are subject to the following policy: Free Cancellation: Up to 1 (one) week before check- in. Late Cancellation: In case of cancellation beyond the specified term, 70% (seventy percent) of the total booking amount will be retained. No-show: If you fail to check in without prior notice, the entire amount will be charged. 4. Payments Payments for the booking are managed through the payment platform called Stripe (www.stripe.com) (“Stripe”), a secure and reliable system for online payments. 4.1. Payment Methods We accept the following payment methods via Stripe:  Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)  Debit cards  Other payment methods supported by Stripe 4.2. Payment Process  Payment will be charged at the time of booking or as set during the purchase process.  Credit card data is managed and protected by Stripe, compliant with PCI-DSS security standards. We do not store any payment information on our servers. 4.3. Refunds  Refunds, if provided by the cancellation policy, will be processed according to the terms and conditions set by Stripe. 5. Check-in and Check-out  Check-in: From 3:00 PM.  Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Check-in with Vikey: The check-in process is automated via Vikey. You will receive a link via email to upload your documents and complete the online check-in. After verifying the documents, you will be provided with instructions for accessing the apartment. 6. Security Deposit A security deposit of [amount] may be required at check-in. This amount will be temporarily blocked on the credit card and will be released within [number] days after the end of the stay, subject to verification of the apartment’s condition. 7. Guest Responsibility Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or furnishings during their stay. Any damage will be charged directly from the security deposit, or an additional payment will be requested if the costs exceed the blocked amount. 8. House Rules To ensure a pleasant stay, we kindly ask you to respect the following rules:  No smoking inside the property.  Pets are not allowed unless otherwise indicated.  The property is not available for bachelor/bachelorette parties or similar events.  Quiet hours must be respected from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. 9. Privacy and Data Protection We process your personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws (GDPR). The Vikey platform securely manages your check-in data in compliance with Italian law and European regulations. Payment data is managed by Stripe, which guarantees high-security standards. 10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Florence.
